Otto Francis Windholz, Jr. was born in Hays, Kansas on December 31, 1951, and passed away in Houston, Texas on December 24, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Blanche Windholz; sisters, Carolyn Pfannenstiel and Louise Schmidtberger; brother-in-law, Bill Rupp; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Rupp; nephew and godson, Mitchell Rupp.

Otto is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Windholz; his children, Travis Windholz and wife Jennifer and Lyndsie Niewiadomski and husband Jeramiah; grandchildren, Braden Windholz, Blake Windholz, and Blake Niewiadomski; siblings, Virgil Windholz and wife Louise, and Charlotte Blake and husband Don; brother-in-law, Jerry Schmidtberger; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rick and Judy Rupp, Neal Rupp, and Kim and Deana Rupp; and many loved nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass for Otto will be held at 10:30am on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070. Visitation for Otto will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am, preceding the funeral Mass. A reception for Otto will be held following Mass.

Otto will be laid to rest in his hometown of Victoria, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, Rosary and Vigil at 6:00pm, on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Cline's Keithley Mortuary, 412 Main St, Victoria, KS 67671. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Basilica of St. Fidelis, 900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, KS 67671. Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am, preceding the Mass. Otto will be laid to rest at St. Fidelis Cemetery. A reception for Otto will be held at the Victoria VFW following burial.
