LaVern Muchow was born in Angelina, Texas on March 17, 1947, and passed away in Houston, Texas on February 18, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Odel Caples and baby girl Muchow.

LaVern is survived by her loving husband, James W. Muchow; her children, Timothy J. Muchow and Katherine L. Henderson; granddaughters, Ashley N. Muchow, Victoria K, Henderson, and A. Brooke Henderson; and brother, Curtis Caples.

Her family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation from 5-8pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065. A funeral service for LaVern will be held in the chapel at Klein Funeral Home at 2pm on Friday, March 1, 2019, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
