Olga Yemelyanova, 71, lost her long-going battle to illness on October 11 th , 2021. She was one step away to overturn her illness and win her battle, but God decided that he needed her more up in heaven. She leaves behind her sons Danil and Mikhail, her siblings, her grandchildren, and a very long legacy of the students which she taught during the decades of her career as a piano teacher.
Olga was a person who loved her life and spent time with her family, kids and grandkids. She enjoyed cooking, baking and trying new recipes. She loved to have family gatherings so she could cook and play the piano, and she loved to travel to different places. If you knew or would meet Olga, it would be hard not to notice her sparkling eyes, lovely smile, always laughing voice, tons of energy, optimism, and willingness to help people regardless of the toll it would take on her. Olga loved watching the Olympics and she was very passionate about figure ice-skating. She thought it was the most elegant sport in the whole wide world.
Olga was a get up and go person who would never stop moving, and she had an abundant love for the people around her and she cherished the opportunity to spend the last 3 years of her life living with her son, her daughter-in-law, and her granddaughter. She was a few steps away from the people she loved. She would frequently remind her son that he has a guardian status on official papers only, while being the guardian angel in day-to-day life. The unprecedented and challenging year of 2020 did split a lot of families apart, but for Olga, it gave her an additional opportunity to spend even more time with her granddaughter who was schooling from home at that time.
