Olga Rios Rivera born May 30, 1933 in Taft, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2019 at her home in Cypress, Texas.

Olga was a cosmetologist and entrepreneur for a number of years. She owned and operated Olga's Beauty Salon in the Houston Heights where she found great joy in serving the senior citizens of the community.

A woman of great faith, Olga was persistent in prayer and shared her love of the Lord at every opportunity. She loved holidays and family get-togethers and treasured any chance to spend time with family and friends. When she wasn't spending hours cooking and preparing for her company, Olga could be found gardening, quilting, flower arranging and, of course, shopping. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Rivera is preceded in death by her parents, Meliton and Petra Rios and her brothers, Ramon, Melecio, Jesus and Juan Rios. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Reynaldo Rivera; son, Rolan Rivera and wife Marian Rivera; daughters, Linda Leal and Reyna Rivera; grandchildren, Jeffrey Leal, Annette Hernandez, A J Rivera, Tyler Ludden; great-grandchildren, Audrey Hamilton and Evan Ludden. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2019 with the holy rosary and vigil to start at 7:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home – CyFair, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery- Cypress.
