Olga Amalia Martínez passed away from this life to be with the Lord on May 30, 2024. Amalia was born on February 20, 1951, to the late Eleuterio Martínez Sr and Juana Martínez in Falfurrias, Tx.

Amalia was a successful and giving businesswoman who inspired many. Early in her career, she was a realtor, travel agent, and independent insurance agent. She got hired by Allstate in 1998 as an Exclusive agent. Throughout her 22 years as an Allstate Agent, she earned many awards and recognitions.

She loved to travel and experience new things. She had a passion for consignment shopping and enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations for her kids and grand kids. Her happiest moments were with family and friends. She will be remembered for always thinking of others before herself and for being a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is deeply loved and will be missed dearly by many.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Martínez, Alex Martínez, and David Martínez; her daughter, Marisol Martínez Benavente; son in law, Robert Benavente; her grandkids, Catherine Benavente and Josh Benavente; her brothers, Aguinaldo Martínez and Eleuterio Martínez Jr; her sisters, Hilda Villarreal and Paula Lopez; and many other beloved family members.

She is preceded in death by her father, Eleuterio Martínez Sr; her mother, Juana Flores de Martínez; her brother, René Martínez Sr; as well as her sisters, María Esmeralda Martínez de Garza and Luz (Lucy) Martínez de Ortega
