Olga Cantor went home to Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on May 29, 2024 at age 87.

Olga was born to Florentino Ricaurte Plazas and Graciela Calixto on December 02, 1936 in Sogamoso Boyacá, Colombia. As one of the eldest, Olga was like a second mother to her younger siblings, devoting her time to their care and well-being while also taking the time to celebrate life by laughing and dancing with her friends and family.  Olga met her husband, Jorge Cantor in 1961 in Bogotá, Colombia. They married on May 27th, 1962, went on to have four children, Olga Aydee, George, Janneth, Vivian and recently celebrated 62 years of marriage.  On May 2nd of 1969, by God's grace, the family moved from Colombia to New Jersey to seek better opportunities in the States for their young and growing family.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, Olga also enjoyed bowling, taking walks, spending countless hours doing word searches, reading her Bible and attending church services, decorating her home for all of the holidays, especially Christmas, where she looked forward to setting up her Pesebre (Nativity scene). Olga absolutely loved cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events and attending all of their activities. Family Feud was constantly on the tv unless there was an Astros game to watch, she was Craig Biggio's number one fan! Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her by how she lived and loved. Olga was a loyal friend, wouldn't forget a birthday, her contagious smile lit any and all rooms.  She loved unconditionally and is described as a selfless, caring, kind, joyful, strong, hard-working, beautiful woman of God. Olga joins her father, Florentino Ricaurte Plazas, her mother, Graciela Calixto, siblings Hernando Ricaurte, Elisa Ricaurte, Jaime "Jairo" Alberto Ricaurte, Edilberto Ricaurte, and son-n-law Kerry Campbell in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Jorge E. Cantor Sr., her children, Olga Aydee Cantor, George and Kim Cantor, Janneth Campbell, Vivian and Steven Thompson Jr., grandchildren, Alexis Blanco, Alyssa Blanco, Constance Cantor, Angie Cantor, Joshua Cantor, Desiree Cantor, Noah Cantor, Nathan Watkins, Justin Campbell, Jacob Campbell, Garrett Campbell, 13 great grandchildren, a beautiful extended family, two sisters, Lilia and Graciela Ricaurte Calixto and many nieces/nephews who reside in Colombia.
