Obituary

O W Kuykendall (Kirk or Dub to his family and friends) passed away November 1, 2021. Dub was born July 24, 1945 in Hamilton Texas to O.W. and Nina Kuykendall. He lived most of his youth in Waco, Texas. After graduating from high school and serving in the Navy, he worked for the government in Adak, Alaska. He returned to Texas to complete his schooling at the University of Texas getting a degree in Engineering. He retired from Jacobs Engineering in 2011. Kirk was an avid skeet and sporting clay shooter, who enjoyed shooting with his son and daughter. He enjoyed traveling to bird hunts with friends here in the states and in Argentina.

Dub is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lloy Kuykendall. Survived by his wife of 51 years Nettie Kuykendall. Daughters: Crystal Kuykendall Kohutek (Ed), Cherie Kuykendall Tann (Doug) and son Morgan Kuykendall (Stacy). Grandchildren: Joe Kohutek (Jana), Mandy Case (Michael), Ryan Florack (Chelsea), Christopher Florack (Ashlyn). Cody Kuykendall, Taylor Kuykendall and Ashley Conner (Matt). Great Grandchildren: Taylor and Blake Case, Kaydn Florack and Wren and Kit Conner. Brother Floy Kuykendall and nieces Linda Kuykendall, Vikki O'Dell and Nephews Larry, Aaron and Curt Kuykendall.

Service will be at Klein Funeral Home on Wortham Blvd, Houston, Tx 77065

With a reception to follow at HW Range at 24815 Highway 290 Cypress, Tx 77429
