Nolan Hugh Sonnier, 90, of Spring, passed away June 4th. He was born May 8th, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas to the late W.J. Sonnier and Nola (Boute) Sonnier.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Sonnier, and daughter, Sherry Earhart.

Including his parents he was preceded in death by his son Grant Whitney Sonnier.

Nolan was a very unforgettable man. He never met a stranger. He always had a joke and often told the same twice. He was a proud Marine and strong Christian who daily read the Bible and loved the Lord. His famous words that will live on were "Semper Fi gig em in the eye from an old DI" and have a blessed forever. He was very loved by all who met him.
