Noah Barboza, Jr., age 59, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2025. Born on October 8, 1965, to Noah Barboza, Sr. and Virginia M. Barboza, Noah lived a life full of heart, purpose, and devotion to his family, friends, and passions.

Noah was a loving husband, father, grandfather—affectionately known as "Papa"—son, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Barboza, Sr.; grandmother, Olivia Guerrero; mother-in-law, Mary Ledkins; and brother-in-law, Albert Avila.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marcella Barboza. Together since high school, their love story is one of enduring devotion and joy—sealed in marriage in 1984 and later renewed through the Catholic sacrament. Their bond is unshakable, marked by daily expressions of love, shared adventures, and a mutual passion for music, food, and travel.

Noah was a proud father to three children: daughter, Alexis Guzman (Ricardo); son, Noah Barboza III (Emily); and son, Marcelo Barboza. His cherished grandchildren, Julia Guzman and Noah Barboza IV, brought him immense joy in his most rewarding role as "Papa".

He is also survived by his mother, Virginia M. Barboza; aunt, Elsa Laura Treviño; siblings Christopher Barboza (Carmen), Orlando Joseph Barboza (Malissa), and Virginia Joi Barboza (Christina); brother-in-law, Raymond Avila (Janie); many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will miss him deeply.

Noah was a successful business owner, entrepreneur, and inventor who embraced innovation and embodied the definition of "hard work". In 2018, he became a certified patent holder in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico—one of his proudest achievements. With a mind for invention and a heart for mentorship, he shared his knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit with his children and countless others, always championing the underdog and believing in people even when they didn't believe in themselves.

Noah had a deep appreciation for life's pleasures and a remarkable ability to connect with people. He never missed his children's many sporting events and activities, a great concert with his wife, friendly competition of billiards with friends, or the opportunity to cook a meal for anyone who arrived at his home for a chat or a beer.

Noah's legacy is one of love, perseverance, hard work, and family. His memory will live on in the lives of those he touched and loved so deeply.

Funeral Services

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Klein, TX 77379. A Vigil will be recited at 6:30 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location with a procession to his final resting place at Klein Memorial Park - Tomball, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Noah by believing in someone, giving them a second chance, or simply saying, "I love you" to those who matter most.

La velación se llevará a cabo el Jueves 15 de Mayo de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Klein, TX 77379. Habra una Liturgia de la Palabra (Vigilia) a las 6:30 p.m.

El servicio funeral se llevará a cabo el Viernes 16 de Mayo de 2025, a las 2:00 p.m. en el mismo lugar, seguido por una procesión hacia su lugar de descanso final en Klein Memorial Park - Tomball, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.
