On Tuesday, February 2, 2021 Nickolas Mueller JR, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 89 at home with his loving wife and daughters by his side.
Nick was born in Blue Point Long Island, New York on January 31, 1932. He was a union painter spanning over 45 years. Nick had a passion for food and earlier in his life worked at various restaurants as a chef.
Nick adored his wife, Martha. They celebrated 42 years of marriage this year.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and his son, Joshua.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Jane, brother Robert Mueller and wife Patty of Dresher, PA, sons Ronald Mueller of Alvin, David Mueller and wife Cathy of Alvin, daughters Teresa Waggoner and husband Jesse of Troup and Carol Brown of Houston. He has 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandsons.
Love, family, and a table full of good food define him pretty well. He was silly and stubborn - loved playing dominoes and Australian black licorice. A Fudrucker's hamburger was always his first choice on his birthday. He ended every prayer asking for protection for our military men and women and that they be brought home safely. Most Sunday afternoons you could find him in his chair watching Jeff Gordon win another NASCAR race. He had a crazy, adventurous life - stories of taking the few dollars in his pocket, having fun, building relationships, taking chances and getting jobs here and there all across the country. When he finally landed in Texas he planted deep roots that have grown into generations.
