Nellie Faye Watts' Obituary
Nellie Faye Watts, born September 19, 1924, in Toombs County, Georgia, passed away August 26, 2016, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund L. and Minnie E. Conner; her first husband, Robert P. Carr; her second husband, Frank S. Watts; a son, Johnny Darrell Carr; and nine siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Carr Posey; her son, Kenneth L. (T. Sue) Carr; her daughter-in-law, Deborah Edwards Carr; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 28, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, August 29, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Steve Henze officiating. Interment will take place in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston.
Following the committal service, at approximately 1 p.m., a luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 14225 Hargrave Road, Houston, TX 77070.
If desired, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Kidney Fund.
