Nelda Sue Hardie Napp of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in her home with family and friends nearby, anxious to join Donald in the kingdom of heaven. Nelda was born January 6, 1932, in Turnersville, Texas, to Era and Wylie Hardie. She attended Pasadena High School and married her best friend and the love of her life Donald Edward Napp on January 28, 1951. During their 74 years of marriage, they lived and travelled throughout the United States, South America, and Europe. Nelda was an active volunteer, serving with the Klein United Methodist altar guild, the Korean War Veterans organization, the hospital auxiliary, Republican women organizations, various garden clubs, and a variety of social groups. She was a talented and creative floral designer and seamstress. Her greatest accomplishments were as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nelda is survived by her children Susan Napp Willis, Edward Hardie Napp, and David Alan Napp, their spouses Charles Perry Willis, Jr. and Rose Napp, and longtime friend Pat Nichol, five grandchildren Charles Perry Willis III, Sarah Willis Cady, Zachary Willis, Nicole Napp Bordelon, and Amanda Napp, and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Klein United Methodist Church Altar Guild.
