Obituary

NATHAN J. DEMARY

Nathan J. Demary was called home at the age of 49 while in St Louis, Missouri on September 2, 2021.  He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on September 1, 1972 to Eddie J. Demary Jr. and Mary Gary Demary.  He graduated from Spring High School in Spring, Texas in 1991.  Nathan most enjoyed employment at Noble Drilling Co., where he worked for 11 years in international oil exploration.  He began his Noble career as a roustabout, then worked his way up to crane operator, and finally to a ballast control operator.  He was an over the road truck driver at the time of his passing.

Nathan was the shining light in any setting, and he made a positive, lasting impression on those he met once or knew for a lifetime.  He was truly happy when surrounded by family or gathered with friends of all interests and ages.  Relationships were rich and everlasting, and anyone who knew him will remember his ever-present smile and infectious laugh.  He was wittingly funny, and his affable nature won over the hearts of those around him.  He loved the outdoors and activities such as fishing, hunting, camping, and kayaking.  His love of nature may have stemmed from his Cajun roots, a detail of which he was always proud.  Nathan was a movie and music enthusiast.  He also took delight in cooking, even having perfected a spaghetti dish -- a Nathan classic that evolved into a masterpiece from its simple beginnings as a dish that he would often cook as a child for his family.  He cherished his family and especially loved to spoil his nieces every chance he got.  Nathan was never prouder than to entertain family and friends at his bay home in Bayou Vista, the focal point of many happy times.

Nathan's belief and faith ensures that he has entered eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Those left to cherish his memory are parents Eddie and Mary Demary, sister Tasha Demary Reese and husband Jason, nieces Hailey and Madeline Reese, brother Joshua Demary and wife Maegan, brother Ethan Demary and niece Jane, Grandmother Annie Demary, many aunts and uncles and numerous extended family members and friends all across the globe.

After a private family viewing and a mass of Christian burial, Nathan will be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, Texas.
