Nancylu Roberts

Nancylu passed from this life recovering from recent health challenges on the morning of October 11, with her loving husband, Robert by her side. Nancylu was born on November 17, 1943, in Waco, to Andrew and Icie (Moore) Frosch, graduated from University High in Waco, and briefly attended Baylor. She met the love of her life in 1963. It was love at first sight for Robert and they married 6 months later. They built a life together spanning 60 years and had two sons, Rob and Ron. Nancylu and Robert lived in Brownwood for 20 years, arriving with Walgreens in 1970 and later starting two businesses including the Golden Bull restaurant downtown. Nancylu worked at the Glamour Shop for most of the 80s. They moved to Houston in the mid-90s and both worked for Larson-Juhl for many years, retiring in 2014. Despite being separated by the miles, Nancylu enjoyed keeping up with many old friends via phone, social media, and through her high school reunions.

Nancylu is survived by Robert, their son Ron (and wife, Allison), six grandchildren (Samantha, Andy, Shay, Hunter, Thomas, and Maggie) and two great-grandchildren (Blake and Wyatt). She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Rob. Robert truly adored her always. She was his life and he will deeply miss her every day.
