Obituary

Nancy Jean Anderson Wilson, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Mrs G's Personal Care Home in Brookshire, Texas. She was the wife of James Alva Wilson. They shared 60 years of marriage together.
Born in Uniopolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of Nevel and Beradine "Ruby" Anderson. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School.
She was the dispatcher with the Invincible Fire Department and Rescue Squad in Spencerville, Ohio and the tri-county area and on the ladies auxiliary for the fire department. She co-managed a roller skating rink for several years. She served as Sunday School teacher, Church Training leader, Mission's Friends teacher, AWANA teacher, VBS teacher and director along with serving on many committees at various churches through the years. She was a House Parent at Boys and Girls Country of Hockley, Texas.
She is survived by Children, Larry Wilson and Valerie Fontenot and husband Keith Fontenot. Twenty one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband, James Wilson; parents, Nevel Anderson and Ruby Johnson; Siblings, Kenneth Anderson and Mary Louise Taylor; Son, Courtney Wilson and 15 Grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 2855 Greenhouse Rd, Houston, TX 77084 on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00am.
