Obituary

Nancy Bingham Tumlinson was born on July 5, 1952, in Christopher, Illinois. She exited life's stage on November 9, 2023, at the age of 71, in Houston, TX.

Nancy captivated every audience she met and brought laughter to those lucky enough to encounter her. She routinely charmed Randy, her husband of 44 years, whom she met in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the wedding of their mutual friends. As she would often say, it was love at first sight. After meeting Randy, Nancy left her teaching position at Florida College (Temple Terrace, FL) and relocated to Strack Intermediate School (Spring, TX). Her love for teaching continued even after she left teaching in public schools to have and homeschool three children. After her children were grown, she continued her teaching career at Rosehill Christian School, where she stayed for the next 16 years, leaving smiles and laughter in her wake.

Nancy's life cannot be summarized adequately without mentioning her love for God. She dedicated her life to studying His word and serving Him with a cheerful heart. Her love for God and her love for teaching led her to a creative collaboration that resulted in Our Spiritual Heritage, a Bible class curriculum and Bible study tools for families and churches.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; her children, Jenny, John, and Anna; and her grandchildren, Ajourné, Antonio, and Aten. She is also survived by her father, Wilburn Eural Bingham, and her siblings, Rebecca, Mark, and Jon. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Nell Bingham, and her brother, Robb Bingham.

A visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX.
