Nancy Jean Reinhardt, 58, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 3, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25th, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main St. in Tomball, TX.  A small luncheon will be held after the service at Hampton Inn & Suites, 14100 Medical Complex Dr., in Tomball.

Nancy was born on July 19, 1966, to Albert and Ila (Wiechman) Reinhardt in Enid, OK, the baby of the family.  In August of 1971, the family moved to Houston.  In July of 1984, Nancy moved to Fort Worth, TX for her senior year of high school, but she couldn't wait to get back to the Houston area after college.

Upon graduation from high school, Nancy attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State University in December 1989 with a bachelor's degree in education.  After graduation, Nancy moved to Cypress and began her teaching career at the Cottage Montessori school for 10 years. She then landed her dream job of teaching PE at Cy-Fair ISD.   Coach Reinhardt started at Frazier Elementary, then moved to Metcalf Elementary, where she coached for over 20 years.  In all, she taught at CFISD for 26 years and was planning on retiring after this school year. She would laugh when a student's parent would tell her that she had been their coach also.  What a legacy she is leaving behind.  Nancy was introduced into the Christian faith by her parents as an infant when she was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Enid.  She continued walking and growing in her faith the rest of her life and was a member at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress.  Her Christianity showed brightest in the love that she had for all her students.  She never met a stranger and would approach all future friends with a smile and a caring handshake or hug.  As she celebrates in paradise, she will be greatly missed by those of us left behind.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Al & Ila Reinhardt.  She is survived by her partner of 38 years, Lisa Friend; sisters Kathy Tews (Mark) and Jennifer Reinhardt (Raquel); nephews Alex Tews (Katie) and Zach Tews (Dana); great-nieces Grace, Madi, Averie, and Delaney; and a multitude of cousins, friends, and her much beloved students.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your favorite children's organization in honor of Nancy's 36 years in education.

Till we meet again, rest in the arms of Jesus, our sweet little Nancy.

God is Great, All the Time.  All the Time, God is Great!
