Nancy Lee Lowery Akers Lee

Nancy Lee went home to heaven on November 24, 2020.

She was born in Vernon, TX , 89 years ago, to David Otto and Bessie Lowery

Nancy worked as a legal secretary and also worked in IT at Hobby Airport and the Houston Zoo, retiring in 1999.

Nancy was an artist.  She loved art classes and painting. She loved music and taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray's in Houston and Shreveport in the 1940s. Nancy served as PTA president whenever her children were in elementary school.

She loved her biggest accomplishments- her family. She Always ended conversations with her loved ones saying, " I Love you More ".

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her daughters, Cynthia Lynn Jeanette Davis, Victoria Lea Gail and Roger Berry, Vivian Lee Ruth and Gary Friery, Coy LaGene Hope, and son Coy & Pauline Akers. Grandchildren: Dawn Berry Pillion & Josh, Brandon & Karen Berry and their sons, Jackson and Colton, Wendy and Paul Baxley and their  daughter Georgia Gail , Summer and Michael Austin, Nicole Lee and Kevin Miller and their children Madelyn and Kyan, Stephaney Shropshire Weatherly & Caleb, their children, Keyden Bratcher & Skylar Weatherly,  Ashley Evitts McWilliams & William, Sheleigh Shropshire Moran and Robert & son Gavin, Caitlin Akers, Jacob Akers and family and Dylan Akers and family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, David Otto and Bessie Eunice Ennis Lowery, sister Betty Jane and brothers Clyde, Charles, Choice David, Richard and Bobby Gene, and first grandchild  Wesley Art Davis, II

She will be laid to rest at Decker's Prairie Cemetery.
