NANCY JEAN HAGER (nee Franz) passed away peacefully on the morning of June 13, 2023 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 80. Nancy was born in Canton, Ohio, and graduated from Glenwood High School. She moved to Dallas in 1979 and then settled in Magnolia in 1981, where she owned and operated Magnolia Florist for 35 years. Although a busy business woman, Nancy was devoted to her children and grandchildren. A beloved member of the community, she donated generously through the flower shop to local children's sports teams and other organizations. Although Nancy ran the flower shop until age 75, that didn't stop her from enjoying life. She crocheted and painted beautiful ceramics, she played Bunco with friends, and was a member of the local Red Hat Ladies' Society.

Nancy will always be remembered for her warm smile, her engaging personality, and the beautiful arrangements she fashioned at the flower shop that brought joy to so many. She is survived by her son Robert Hager (Toni), daughters Debbie Blailock, Laura Schneider, and Kim Saxon (Sean), along with grandchildren Jake, Kellen, Matthew, Adam, and Garrett. Nancy is also survived by her brother, Dennis Franz, and her sister, Susan Airhart. Following a private funeral service, there will be a Celebration of Life for her family and friends on Saturday June 24 at 12:30 p.m., at "The Barn" at Majestic Oaks (20125 Cedar Ln. Tomball, Tx, 77377). Lunch will be served. The family requests that attendees wear flowered clothing as a tribute to Nancy's life-long love of flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
