Nancy Sue Ferriman, 80, of Spring, Texas passed away December 26, 2022. Nancy was born on August 8, 1942 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Verona and Ralph Lorenzen.
Nancy married Robert Ferriman December 4, 1976. Nancy and Robert were married for 46 wonderful years. Together they had 5 children and hosted many exchanges students from all over the world.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Rhona Sue Mashburn, and grandson Jonathan Puffer. Nancy is survived by her husband Robert Ferriman, daughters Elisa Hall, Kim Johnson, Audrey Tidwell, son John Ferriman; grandchildren Elizabeth Harrison, Clifton Hale, Dorothy Jean Tidwell, Charlie Tidwell, Zoe Johnson, Alex Johnson, Emily Cameron; 16 great grandchildren and sister Norma Lea Williams.
Over the years Nancy worked as an Administrative Assistant for Cooper Industries, Amaco, and HCDE. After retiring, Nancy enjoyed spending time with Robert working on and admiring the gardens around their home. Along with Robert, Nancy helped start up an organic farm in Tomball. Nancy was involved in many organizations and outreach groups around the community including the Tomball Rotary Club, Daughters of the King, Daughters of the American Revolution, and CanCare. While working at Amaco, Nancy was a member of The American Society of Safety Engineers. Nancy was also an active member of Youth for Understanding for several years. Nancy enjoyed traveling, photography, gardening, swimming, and being a witness for our Lord Jesus Christ. Her love for travel brought numerous exchange students to her and Robert's home, many of whom Nancy would come to call her extended family.
Nancy was a very compassionate, caring, and loving person. She never met a stranger and would have an immediate connection with you.
