Myrna Gay Woody of Magnolia, Texas died Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at the age of 76 following a long illness. She died peacefully while at home surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rev. John G. Woody, four children: Rev. Steve Woody & spouse Pamela of Livingston, Texas; Phillip Woody & spouse Janet of Keller, Texas; Pamela Thompson & spouse Roy of Winona, Texas; and Norman Woody & spouse Melanie of Houston, Texas. She was a proud grandmother of 13, along with several great-grandchildren.

The Woody's spent their entire marriage serving churches in the United Methodist Church across Texas. Myrna was a tremendous pastor's spouse who was loved by all. She spent her adult life serving Christ and winning people to Him. She will be greatly missed.
