Myrna Ash Lester passed away April 26, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. Myrna was born in Austin, Texas on July 28, 1935 and was the only child of Vernon and Bertha Ash. She grew up in Brenham, Texas. She graduated from Brenham High School and then went on to graduate from Blinn College and Sam Houston State College with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Myrna LOVED her Houston Astros!!

Myrna was a devoted wife to her husband of 63 years, George William "Bill" Lester. Her pastimes included time at the lake, traveling, reading and watching her grandchildren participate in numerous activities.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Bertha Ash and her infant daughter Susan Gail Lester. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill, their daughters Sharon Dow (Greg), Lisa Swanner (Slade) and Pam Manning (Mike), their seven grandchildren, Collin Dow, Zach Dow, Mason Swanner, Emerson Swanner, Stratton Swanner (Diana), Lindsay Manning, and Allison Holeman (Jacob). Myrna is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29 ^th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas 77375. The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, April 30 ^th at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, Pinehurst.
