Ora "Mozelle" Steed, 98, of Houston, Texas passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Mozelle was born May 24, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Tom and Anna Yeckley.  She was one of five girls.  She grew up in Tulsa and moved to Houston in 1963.

Mozelle is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert "Bob" L. Steed, her parents, Tom and Anna Yeckley and her sisters, Virginia Simmons, Morine Fullingim, Maxine Rucker and Pauline Gandy.  She is survived by her daughters, Linda Steed Morris (husband Pat Morris) and Gina Steed Wells (husband Jim Wells) and grandchildren, Scott Morris (Chrissy), Christie Morris Holmes, Brian Morris, Michelle Morris Bronaugh (Bryan), Jennifer Wells Russell and Lauren Wells Palmer (Darrell).  Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Kylie Morris (18), Kadyn Morris (15), Jake Morris (10), Brooklyn Holmes (8), Alizabeth Morris (18), Jackson Bronaugh (5), Marlee Russell (2), Charlie Palmer (2 months), and numerous nieces.

She was affectionately known as Mother, Grandmother, and Gram to those who loved her.  She will be deeply missed.

Mozelle will be laid to rest at a committal service in the Garden Of The Savior in Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, Texas at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
