Morris William Kitchens, lovingly known to all as "Bill," was born on June 20, 1928 in Atlanta GA., and passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026 in Tomball, Texas, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love, devotion, and family.
Bill lived a long and meaningful life, defined by his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. The proud owner of Tomball Rental Center, he built not only a successful career but also a life centered on integrity and commitment. While he valued his work, nothing meant more to Bill than his family.
He was blessed to share an extraordinary 74 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Vergie Fick Kitchens. Together, they created a life rich in love, laughter, and adventure. Bill especially cherished traveling the world with Vergie and their children, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Bill was preceded in death by his eldest son, Terry Kitchens; daughter-in-law, Debra Kitchens; and grandson, Brian Kitchens, who passed as an infant.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Vergie; his sons, Gregory Kitchens (Beverly), Bruce Kitchens (Jennifer), and Keith Kitchens (Frank Gaona); and a large and loving family. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Amanda Kitchens, Melissa Kitchens (Chase), Kimberly Hamrick (Wes), Hannah Ray (Conner), Rachel Kitchens (Alex), Lauren Whitaker (Garrett), Ben Kitchens (Denise), Brittany Kitchens (Blake), Adam Kitchens, Eric Gaona, and Adam Gaona (Angie), along with numerous great-grandchildren and extended family members.
Bill will be remembered for his strong faith, kind heart, and the love he had for his family. He was a man who valued every moment spent with loved ones and lived a life full of purpose and connection.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, 2:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, 22601 Lutheran Church Road, Tomball, Texas 77377.
Bill will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
