On Thursday, April 6th, Minerva Dean Roesler was welcomed into her Lord and Savior's arms as well as the loving arms of her family.  She was born on December 5th, 1934 to Minerva Drake Hoye and L. Dean Hoye in Oklahoma City, OK.  An only child, she was their pride and joy.  She grew up in Newkirk, OK.  Upon graduation, she spent her freshman year at Stephens College in Columbia, MO and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma.  It was there that she met her future husband and the love of her life, Robert J. Roesler.  They were married on May 20, 1955.  Robert preceded her in death on February 24, 2009.

Family was always the most important thing to Minerva.  She and Robert had two daughters, Valerie White and Stephanie Gasaway.  They absolutely cherished their mother, and her death leaves a huge void in their lives.  In addition to her family, Minerva spent over three decades in the energy business with Amoco/BP.  Minerva and Robert were avid OU football fans.  During football season, she dressed every Saturday in her OU game day attire.

Minerva is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Valerie and Kenneth White and Stephanie and James Gasaway, grandchildren David White and wife Amanda, Alexandrea White, James Kinchen and Julia Prise and husband Leith and great grandchildren Madison White and Harrison White.

Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX , on Monday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 15415 North Eldridge Parkway, Cypress, TX , on Tuesday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m.  She will be laid to rest next to Robert at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13th, in Tulsa, OK at Calvary Cemetery.
