Obituary

Milton Joseph Duffy "Doc" was born in Carencro, Louisiana, February 11, 1936.  At around the young age of 13, he moved to Texas.  At around the age 15 he stared work for Frank J. Hieden. Where he worked for 50+ years and only in resent months had stop.  He married in 1974 and had 3 beautiful children. His love and passion for horses and horse racing, was and is well known amongst the many friends and family in his life. The last few years his passion and hobby was his grandchildren. He had a special, unique, and different relationship with each and every one of them.  Through out the years Milton made many friends and always had a love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Claude Duffy,  mother, Eletia Alexander Duffy, Godchild, Fr. Harry Duffy, and Ernest Duffy, Michael Jones, and Roudelle Duffy.

Surviving family members are, brothers and sisters: Horace Sr. and Priscilla Duffy, Hermie and Sidney Sr. Jones, Melta and Lee Gordon, Leroy and Marie Duffy, Doris and Edmond Boutte, and Tony Duffy and Benne Boxie; his wife, Marjorie L. Duffy; children, Rebecca Duffy Skeen and Wesley Skeen, Michael and Melissa Duffy, and Robert Duffy; grandchildren, Bethany Duffy, Elizabeth Skeen, Hunter Duffy, Trenton Duffy, and Trevor Duffy; God Children, Ronald Gordon, Sidney Jones Jr., and Danielle Boutte-Smothers. He is also survived by a whole host of nieces and nephews and cousins, and many other family members and close friends.

A special thanks to Melissa Duffy, who has been the best daughter/sister- in-law and wife to the Duffy Family, Thank You.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Duffy, Michael Duffy, Dennis Duffy, Horace Duffy Jr., Frank J. Seber, Beau Mueller, Ronald Gordon, and Danny Gordon. Honorary Pallbearers are: Horace Duffy Sr., Leroy Duffy, Tony Duffy, Lee Gordon, Sidney Jones Sr., Edmond Boutte, Timmy Seber, Kenny Teutch, Cullen Brotherton, Valray Foster, Bubba Chris, Frank Hieden Jr., Ronnie Podraza, and Dr. James Fontenot.

The Family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospital, Cornerstone Hospital, and all the Doctors and nurses.  If you would like to make a donation instead of flower please make to:  St. Luke's Hospital The Woodlands, Cornerstone Hospital in Conroe, TX., or St. Anne Catholic Church Tomball, TX.
