Mildred Rodgers Clark was born on March 31, 1934 in Marlin, Texas to David Levy Rodgers and Lockie Mae McGlaun Rodgers. On October 2, 2019 at the age of 85 she passed peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends.

She was the youngest of 6 children and was the only girl. Her family moved to the Houston area where she later met and married Richard Clark. They continued to live in Houston while raising their three children. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to one. She was always on the go and one of the hardest working women you would ever know. She loved running the family general contracting business with her son Jim, and having son Bruce and daughter Jeanne working together and raising the grandchildren in the office setting. What a wonderful blessing it was for her children and grandchildren to grow up seeing her so often.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, all 5 of her brothers, her husband Richard Clark, and her son Bruce Edward Clark. She is survived by sister-in-law Barbara Morse, son James Clark, daughter Jeanne Dunn and husband John, grandchildren Mandy Smith and husband Scott, Alexander Dunn and wife Evin, Courtney Clark and Angela McCarty-Clark, Jayne Clark, Kim Clark, Katy Clark, Colin Clark, Lauren Clark, great granddaughter Sophie Smith, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball.  Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball.  Burial will follow at the Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst.
