Mildred "Millie" May Bass, 88, of Cypress, passed away June 8, 2017. She was born April 20, 1929, in Melvindale, MI to the late Fred William Johnson and Gladys Richmond Johnson.

Millie was a member of Graceview Baptist Church for 27 years. She was a member of J.O.Y. Ministry, Christian Writers Association, and Christian Writers Institute.  She worked for Guaranty Bond Bank and Tomball National for 5 years each.  Ms. Bass was an active Tomball resident for 50 years.

She is survived by her sons, Marvin Dean Bass and wife Vicki and Vernon Dale Bass; daughter, Connie Lucille Bass; grandchildren, Dalenne Garcia, Lorren Carrasco, Bryan Bass, Jason Watson, Nickolas Bass and Jeremy Bass; and great grandchildren, Gavin & Gracelyn Garcia; Jordan and Christian Amendt; Isabella, Elijah & Amelia Bass.

Including her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoytt Bass; brother Fred Johnson; and sister Juanita Pletcher.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 13th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 13th at 3:00 PM, at Graceview Baptist Church, Rev. Bryan Donahoo officiating.  Interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park, FM 249 Pinehurst.
