Michelle Irene Ramsey passed away on June 17, 2023, in Houston, Texas after a courageous battle with cervical cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

Michelle was born October 5, 1976, to Betty and Vernon Ramsey. After graduating from Cy Fair High school in 1995, Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in education from University of Houston Downtown. She taught elementary school for nearly a decade before completing her master's degree from Texas A&M in Educational Psychology and becoming a school counselor. Michelle was passionate about helping the hundreds of children she encountered throughout her years as a teacher and counselor.

Michelle found great joy in the simple things in life. During summer break, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends. She adored her family and her dog, Bella. She was a loving aunt, sister, and daughter.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Vernon Ramsey and Betty Ramsey; her brother, Michael Ramsey; her sister-in-law, Amber Ramsey; her nieces, Savonnah Ramsey, Haley Ramsey, Sera Ramsey and Paige Ramsey, and many other extended family members.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Michelle touched are invited to Klein Funeral Home on June 23, 2023, at 10am to honor and celebrate her life.
