Our Lord called another one of his Angel's, Micheal Ray Harmeier of Rosehill, Texas, home on December 16th, 2021, at the age of 67. He is loved dearly and will be missed tremendously.

Mike is survived by his wife and best friend Michelle Renee Harmeier, children: Micheal Denton Harmeier and wife Chase, grandson Levi Brazos Harmeier, daughter Dr. Lauren Elizabeth Harmeier, brothers Fred Harmeier, Don Allen Harmeier and wife Diane, stepchildren: Nicki Kelso-Crocker, Rachel (Ray-Ray) Kelso, Becky Kelso-Busa, 10 bonus grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his ornery dog, Miss Bugsy.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Donald Paul Harmeier and Sue Ella Bokemeyer and brother Ronny Dean Harmeier.

Mike was a master electrician and owned his own company; APECS Electric. His motto was: "If you want second best, that's your business, if you want the best, that's ours" and that's how he lived his life. Always striving to be the best.

Mike's first love was music; he was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving from 1990 to present. He was also the proud, #1 fan of his son's band Mike and the Moonpies. He could name any song from any artist and could quote all the lyrics. He would have been a great contestant on "name that tune".

Mike loved life and he loved his friends and family. If a life was measured in friendships, Mike's wealth would be immeasurable. Mike always made sure everyone around him had a smile… or a Miller Lite. The love he had for his children was immeasurable; he was beyond proud of his daughter, Lauren and was first in line to see his son, Mike, at one of his shows.

The things Mike loved, he loved with a passion. He was a true "Luv Ya Blue" fan. His Houston Oilers was not only his passion, but some of his greatest friends. He loved westerns; his favorite being Lonesome Dove. To quote Gus, his favorite character, "It's been quite the party ain't it ". Mike's love for Ebay, ice cream and Dr. Pepper nearly matched his love for music and could often be seen with a cup of the 23-flavored drink in hand while mowing on his beloved John Deere Tractor.

Mike was lucky to be loved by so many. They say legends never die and the legend of Micheal Ray Harmeier will live on in stories and memories for generations to come.
