Obituary

Michael Lee Weible, 77, of Cypress, Texas, passed from this life on February 6, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1948, to Paul and Virginia Weible in Wichita, Kansas.

Mike graduated from Pryor High School in 1966 and studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and his Masters Degree in Computer Engineering. He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard. In his early career Mike worked for the Severe Storms Lab in Norman, Oklahoma before changing to the oil and gas industry where he worked for Amerada Hess Oil in Tulsa.

He moved to Houston, Texas in 1994 and fulfilled his dream of owning his own business in 1997 when he started his successful home inspection company.

Mike's love of sports was evident in the many sports he played from scuba diving to skiing to golf and fishing. He was an avid OU football fan and Astros baseball fan.

Family was everything to Mike. He loved nothing more than fishing with his kids and grandkids. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He will be missed by many friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lorna, son Scott Weible (Christy), daughter Leslie Martin (Chris). Grandchildren Ashley Hollier (Julia), Dakota Weible (Sabrina), Calli Weible, Brody Weible, Olivia Martin, Tristan Weible, Allyson Maenza (Brett), Hunter Sipes, and Emily Sipes, sister Paula Clayton (Mack), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Teri Smith, and brothers Danny and Johnny Weible.

A celebration of life service for Mike will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, TX on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 am. Visitation is at 10:00 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an organization of your choice in honor of Mike Weible.
