Michael Brian Waguespack, 63, of Spring, Texas, passed from this life on Friday, September 18, 2026. Brian was born on March 5, 1963 to Val and Barbara Waguespack in Marrero, Louisiana.
Brian, as he was known to family and friends, grew up in Louisiana but got to Texas as soon as he could. Brian attended Klein Forest High School and was in the first graduating class of the school. He loved nothing more than spending time with family, watching his beloved Houston Astros and Houston Texans, as well as LSU Tigers play football and baseball, going fishing when he had the chance, listening to classic rock, camping, grilling/smoking, and a good cold one after a hard day of work. Since 2004, Brian was a dedicated employee of Waste Management at the time of his passing. Brian married the love of his life, Lisa, in 1997 and helped raise her daughter, Chelsea. Although Brian was a quiet man, he will be remembered by all as a jokester who loved a good fart joke and would have his grandsons, nieces, and nephews pull his finger.
Brian is survived by his wife, Lisa Waguespack, his father, Val and step-mother, Janie Waguespack, daughter Chelsea and Joey Payne. Brian is also survived by, Rhonda Waguespack (sister), Kevin Waguespack (brother), Kurt Waguespack (brother) and Shirley Harris, and Mary (sister) and Bobby Webb, Kaden and Jace Payne (grandsons), his nieces and nephews Lindsey Harrison, Jamie Maze, Mark Webb, Logan Waguespack, and Ainsley Waguespack in addition to his great-nieces and nephews Morgan and Wyatt Harrison and Oliver and Lily Maze.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Waguespack, grandparents, Inez and Stanley Waguespack and Lee and Lynn Allemond.
Brian will be dearly missed and remembered by his family and friends every day. Holidays and family gatherings will be especially hard, but his memory, spirit, and retold stories will remain.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home located at 1400 W Main St, Tomball, Texas on Friday, September 25, 2026 with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Klein Memorial Park at 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas following the services.
