Michael Dwayne Seals was born in Tomball, Texas on Wednesday, December 23, 1959. He was delivered by Dr. Warren in the old Tomball Hospital since his doctor, Dr. Norman E. Graham, was out deer hunting.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Seals; step-father, Finas Marvin Handley; grandmother, Cecil Wilson Seals and Grandfather, Walter Jarvis "Buck" Seals; grandmother, Nona and grandfather, Melvin Handley; grandmother, Rosalie Zelenske Cook and grandfather, Roy Graves Cook; great-grandmother, Irene Carey Zelenske Baragan and great-grandfather, Joseph Zelenske Papanick; many uncles; cousins, Casey Nunn, Maxie Baronaske, Marion James Baronaske, Michael Zelenske, John William Zelenske, Blenda Seals, and several others; and Mike's beloved Pastor Whitfield from the Gentle Shepherd Bible Church.

Michael leaves behind his mother, Patricia Ann Cook Seals Handley; sister, Leah Antoinette Seals; brother, Eric A. Handley and wife Tracy J. Handley; nephew, Jessie Tyler Hobson and wife Shay; great-nephew, Danger Fox Stout; niece, Hannah Kate Handley and special friend Irfan Riyaj. He is also survived by Andrew Vigneaux and his family; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and other dear friends including Blanca Lopez, Mr. Emil J. Rinn, Mrs. Beverly McCoy, Tyler, Tracie, and Brayden Hobson, Chris Castile and others including, his faithful companion, Pancho.

Michael grew up and spent his formative years in the Spring Branch area of Houston, Texas. He lived in Spring Shadows neighborhood, and graduated from Spring Woods High School. While at Spring Woods High, Michael placed in state in drafting as well as other extracurricular activities including playing tuba in the band, auto-mechanics, track and field and his favorite sport of all, football; knocking helmets in his glory days for the Fighting Tigers Classes of 1976 and 1977.

After graduation, Michael tried his hand at several different jobs that ultimately landed in long distance trucking. Michael worked his way from hauling soil to handling fuel and hazardous chemicals and became the safety officer at Andrews Transport.

He retired in Magnolia, Texas living the country life for several years before returning to his roots in Tomball so that he could live near his family in his last years; Michael continued to help and care about Andrew Vigneaux. Dr. Michael Casagrande said Mike had a heart of gold, always wanting to help others, despite his disabilities.

Mike was especially close to Uncle Henry, five years his senior. He also loved all the stories and games his Aunt Virginia would tell him. He was so cute and so sweet, all his Aunties and grandparents loved to be with him.

Michael loved his Pastor Whitfield at Gentle Shepherd Church. Mike had a deep abiding faith and studied the Bible's history, interpretations and more. As a child he attended Fairbanks United Methodist Church and then Clay Road Baptist Church on Wednesday nights with the Burford boys.

Mike loved Leah, Eric and Tracy so  much. They had many happy times together when they were young and later they cheerfully helped him so much. We were all very close.  God gave us a gift like no other.

He loved music, with an eclectic palette of sounds from heavy metal, blues, psychedelia, hymns, orchestra, symphony and just about anything live.

There is so much more I could tell you about Mike, what a wonderful loving, polite, kind child and adult he was, how happy and fun he could be when pain was not racking his body. One of Mike's great attributes was his unwavering faith in God and his ability to forgive one for disparaging remarks before they completed them. He would say, "It's ok, Mom, they know not what they are saying."

Thank you God for our time with Mike, it will be so hard to let you go; we will cherish and love you forever and think of you everyday. We love you Mike.

Michael Dwayne Seals was born in Tomball, Texas on Wednesday, December 23, 1959, and passed away in Houston, Texas on July 27, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. A funeral service for Michael will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home Tomball, to be immediately followed by a committal service in Klein Memorial Park on FM 2920.
