Dr. Michael Lane Nelson, of Paradise, Texas, passed away on Monday June 22, 2020 in Conroe,Texas. He was born on October 31, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma to Dorothy Lane Nelson (nee Stagg) and Gerald LaVerne Nelson. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Michael was a Chiropractor DC, and had served as a Parliamentarian for the Texas Chiropractic Association for 20 years.  He also belonged to the Fort Worth Masonic Temple, Shriners, and the Chanters. Michael enjoyed singing, fishing, working his land, and the second chance of being a grandpa.

Michael is survived by his wife Katherine Nelson, sister Sue Bickham and husband Rodger Bickham.  Daughters Marion Fazzari, Alexandria Fazzari, Anne Marie Fazzari, Christie Ladd and her husband Ed Ladd. Granddaughters Emma Fazzari ,  Alyssandra Fazzari, Taylor Ladd and Brianna Ladd. Niece Lisa Patel and her husband Jeff Patel, nephew Trey Mooney III.  Lifelong friends of the Nelson's Dr. George Aubert and Diana K. Hart.

Memorial service will be on Thursday July 2, 2020, 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Cottondale located at 145 County Road 3355, Paradise, Texas 76073
