Michael Colin Kelley, 76, of Tomball, TX, passed away on December 3, 2018 at home with his wife Carol at his side.

Michael was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Albert E. Kelley Jr., and Fernande (Ouellet) Kelley on February 6, 1942.  He grew up and attended public school in Salem, New Hampshire. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH in 1963. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1969.  After serving his country in Southeast Asia, he returned to the States and was assigned to Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas. After leaving the military in 1969, he was employed by the Texas Railroad Commission in Austin as an Auditor and later as a Hearing Examiner.  In 1974, he accepted a position in Houston, Texas at Texaco Inc in their Transportation Department. He held various positions with Texaco over a 20 year period of employment and retired in 1994. Over the years and in retirement, Michael enjoyed spending time with his two children and his five grandchildren.  He was an avid golfer and was a big sports fan and enjoyed rooting on the New York Football Giants and his beloved 2018 World Champion Boston Red Sox.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Albert E. Kelley III.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years Carol (Thiem) Kelley and his daughter Lauren (Kelley) McCormick with her husband Lee; and son John S. Kelley with his wife Rebecca.  Grandsons include Ryan Duke McCormick of Coppell, TX; Austin Cooper McCormick, Preston Michael McCormick and Carson Anthony McCormick of Frisco, TX; and Granddaughter Kassie Lanae Kitchen of Austin, TX,

It was Michael's request that there be no Visitation, Memorial Service, flowers or donations. His last request to All those that he cared about – " To Love and Enjoy Each Other.  Heartfelt Thanks, Hugs and Love to All of You ! "
