Michael was a proud World War II veteran who served honorably as a Radio Gunner in The U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana and worked for Shell Oil Company as a Financial Analyst  for over thirty years, retiring in 1984. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Donahoe.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Marian, sons Michael P. Donahoe and wife Gaye, Kevin D. Donahoe and wife Debbie and daughter,  Kathleen D. McFadden and son- in- law John W. McFadden; grandchildren Michael C. Donahoe, Jennifer D. Anglin, Patrick Donahoe, Scott Donahoe, Andrew Donahoe, Ryan McFadden and Kyle McFadden.  He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on September 28th from 10:00-11:00am at Klein Funeral Home, Cy-Fair.

Graveside Services and Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
