Michael Joseph Davis was born on April 27, 1961 and passed away at the age of 60 on July 13, 2021.

Michael touched so many lives while here on this earth and has left a legacy to be admired for all those within the Cerebral Palsy community.  While he faced many obstacles in life – he met them head-on with his tenacious spirit and loving heart.

Michael had a huge zest for life!   He was happiest when spending time with his family and friends, sure to light up every room with his big smile and contagious laugh.  When we remember Michael, we cannot help but smile thinking of all the things he enjoyed!  Playing with his nieces and nephews, Coke A Cola, M&MS, boating, fishing, NASCAR, monster trucks, Danny and the military, Joe's Banditos and his favorite games, Yahtzee and Uno. The Houston Oilers, Happy Days (he particularly loved Fonzie), feeding the ducks, The Houston Rodeo, listening on his CB radio when Grandma and Grandpa were on the road to Houston, handing out candy to trick-or-treaters and going to church. He always sang and worshipped the loudest of all, no matter where you were in the congregation, Michael could be heard!

Michael leaves behind a legacy that taught us all to be patient, kind and to accept all people for who they are.   Michael is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Grandparents Staley and Grandparents Davis.  Michael is survived by his brother Mark Davis, sister-in-law Lisi, sister Donna Callan, Brother-in-law Mike Callan and his Uncle Jerry Staley. He is also survived by his nephews, Danny (and his wife Ashley) and Joe Davis. He is survived by his nieces, Sarah (and her husband Morgan, their son Cody and soon to be great niece or nephew), Alex Davis, Megan Farrell (and her husband Patrick) Nicole Weise, Katie Callan, Grace Callan and Paluvai Davis.

Michael also leaves behind many friends who made a difference in his life whom he loved dearly, Kristy Deslatte, Sharon Lamson, the Jackson family and his devoted caretaker and friend, Macneil Toweh.

Michael refused to be limited by cerebral palsy and turned his disability into Triumph!
