It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Melody Elaine Beverly Hill , affectionately known as Mel or Mimi . She is survived by the love of her life for over 50 years, Thomas Hill ; her son Ryan Hill and daughter‑in‑law Mary Hill ; her daughter Shala Hill Sommers and son‑in‑law DJ Sommers ; her beloved grandchildren Sloane , Harper , Marley , Henson , and Lettie ; and many cherished family members who loved her deeply.

Melody loved her family and friends fiercely. She never met a stranger, and she will forever be remembered for the love and kindness she showed to every person she met. She devoted her life to helping others, both in her 30‑plus years as a nurse and in the countless quiet ways she cared for people simply because she believed love should be lived out loud.

She adored spending time with her grandchildren and her adopted "POD" grandchildren who brought her so much joy. Melody and Tom built a beautiful life together, living in many different states throughout their marriage and forming lifelong friendships everywhere they went. She was the epitome of strength, kindness, and a generous spirit.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. We will forever cherish her brilliant smile, a smile that tried to communicate to everyone she met that they were seen, valued, and loved.

Celebration of Life is planned for August 15th from 1-3pm at Hochzeit Hall on 427 Gentry St, Spring, TX 77373.
