Melissa Ann Friday was born on June 10, 1966, in Pasadena, Texas, and passed away in Spring, Texas, on November 21, 2018, of cancer, a disease she fought valiantly for several years.

She is survived by her children, Charles Cameron Byers, Caley Byers, Taylor Simpson, and Tallon Simpson; grandchildren, Westyn Wethington and Haven Luna Venegas; mother, Sue Friday; brother, Kevin Friday; and companion, Jimmy Morgan.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Friday.

Beginning in kindergarten, Melissa resided her entire lifetime in the 1960 and Tomball areas, except for her college years spent in Huntsville, Texas. She worked in the area in the banking, legal, and healthcare fields, respectively. A great lover of animals, in her free time she often worked with her horses, spending as much time as possible in her beloved Friday, Texas. There Melissa was working to restore the home of her grandparents, Gladys and Milton Friday, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed many friendships and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike, especially her two grandchildren, who were dearly loved and enjoyed by her.

A visitation will be held on Friday Nov 30, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Klein funeral Home in Tomball, Texas, with a funeral service for Melissa at Klein Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Melissa's name be made to The American Cancer Society.
