Melanie Jean Hovermale, age 77 passed away November 4, 2020. She was born January 29, 1943 in Anderson, IN to Cora and Hugh Starr. She was married to Carl Gene Hovermale March 1, 1964.
Melanie was a loving mother, wife and friend. She loved walks on the beaches and watching the beautiful sunrises.
Melanie is survived by her husband Carl Gene Hovermale, children Chris Hovermale, his wife Shelley, Jennifer Petty, her husband Chris; her Grandchildren Lauren Hovermale, Peyton Herring and Gunnar Herring, and great grandchildren Hunter & Alyson. All of whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in her death by her parents Cora and Hugh Starr, her sister Judy and brother Richard.
