On Saturday May 15, 2021, Maureen Doyle Pitt, Loving mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 87. Maureen was born on August 2, 1933 to John and Winifred Doyle in Avoca, Ireland. At the age of 19 she left Ireland to live in London where she and some of her siblings settled. She met and fell in love with David Pitt and they married in 1959. They had two daughters, and in 1974 Maureen and her family immigrated to the United States.

Maureen loved spending time with her daughters and granddaughter. She had a love for nature and animals and always enjoyed leaving food scraps in the back yard for all the critters. Maureen was a lifelong, devoted Catholic and enjoyed being involved in her church. She loved traveling, wearing fashionable clothing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
