Matilde Hernandez, 69, of Houston, passed away July 3rd, 2025.  Matilde was born March 14th, 1956, in Petacalco, Mexico to the late Alberto Hernandez and Polonia (Evaristo) Hernandez.

Matilde is survived by her loving daughters, Liridiana Zuniga and son in law, Jose Garcia, Ana Zuniga and son in law Enio Garcia, Xitlali Zungia and son in law Julio Duarte; grandchildren, Megi Garcia and Mario Macias grandson in law, Martin Garcia, Jose E. Garcia, Enio Garcia, Sebastian Garcia, Genaro Daurte, Madelynn Daurte; great grandchildren, Zxochitl Macias and J. Mario Macias.

Including her parents Matilde was preceded in death by her husband, Martimiano Zuniga.

The family will receive visitors Monday, July 14th, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd Houston, Texas 77065. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at 12:30 at Prince Of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, Texas 77070, with Fr. David presiding. Reception immediately following. Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 290 at 2 PM.

Serving as pallbearers are; Jose Garcia, Enio Garcia, Julio Duarte Mario Macias. Serving as Honorary pallbearers Jose E. Garcia and Enio Garcia.
