Marylind Jane Washmon passed away on September 30th at the age of 78 with her family by her side. She was born in 1944 in Enid, OK and raised on a family farm with her brother Joe. After graduating from Phillips University with a degree in Accounting and Music, she went to work at Champlin Petroleum, where she met her husband, James D. Washmon.

They designed and built their farmhouse in Waukomis, outside of Enid, and had two children before following work through multiple states, eventually settling in Houston, TX. She was an accomplished pianist and respected accountant. In later years she became a grandmother of 6 which she loved to shop for and spoil, having their favorite foods on hand for a visit.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Minnie Troska, her husband of 45 years James D. Washmon, and her brother Joe.

She is survived by her son Michael, daughter Julie, and grandchildren Valentine, Astrid, Carl-Joseph, London, Phinley and Kai.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October, 13, 2022 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00PM at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park on 2920
