On October 10, 2024, Maryann E. Steeneck Schroeder, devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother peacefully passed away at the age of 87 with her family by her side.

She was born and raised in Manhattan, New York by Henry F. and Mary A. (Proctor) Steeneck. Maryann married the love of her life, Albert F. Schroeder, and shared a rich life together for 67 years.

Maryann graduated from Wagner College in New York and pursued her life's passion as a teacher. She was an educator for over 35 years in multiple states, the majority being in Texas in Klein ISD where she made many long-lasting friendships that were very dear to her. Maryann was very creative, generous, a loyal friend, and enjoyed cooking; but above all else she loved and cherished her family. She will be dearly missed but will carry on in our hearts forever.

Cherishing her memory are her husband Albert F. Schroeder, children Scott Schroeder and wife Rachel, Nancy Payne and husband Bryan, and Kurt Schroeder. She adored her grandchildren, Adam Welch and fiancé Virginia, Travis Payne and wife Chelsea & family, Austin Payne and wife Ashley & family, Madison Schroeder and husband Sam, Haley Schroeder and fiancé Juan, Tyler Schroeder, Blake Schroeder, and Lauren Schroeder.  In addition, she is survived by her brother Henry Steeneck and family.
