Mary Ann Wetzel was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1943, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on June 23, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Evelyn Backensto.

Mary is survived by her son, Jon Wetzel; her daughters, Kimberly Wetzel and wife Julia Quinn, and Kelly Mentillo; and her grandsons, Austin Oxendine and Dustin Quinn.
