Mary Katherine Seber, 96, was born to Luther Beckham and Katie Parker Beckham on September 7th, 1924 in Garrison, TX. She left this Earth on May 31th, 2021.
Katherine was raised in Timpson, TX. During WWII she had a brother serving in the pacific and felt the need to make her own contribution to the war effort. So, at the age of 18 she set off to Marshall, TX to learn how to weld. She worked for Brown Shipbuilding Co. in Houston, TX to build battle ships in the port of Houston. During that time, she met the love of her life, Irvin Seber. They married July 12, 1943 and remained married until his passing in 1995.
Katherine devoted her time to her family and friends. She loved to volunteer her time at the Tomball Community Center making quilts and crocheting for veterans and unwed mothers. She also was a member of the Recycle Teenagers band and dance group in Tomball. Katherine's greatest love was our Lord and Savior, and was a member of Spring Creek Fellowship.
She is preceded in death by her parents Luther Beckham and Katie Parker Beckham. Her siblings Marian Harris, James Beckham, Janice Hudman, and Osler Beckham. Her husband Irvin Seber and grandson Joey Lynn Swonke. She is survived by her children and spouses John and Linda Seber, Barbara Seber Swonke, Steven and Maria Seber. Grandchildren Bethany Deloach, Curtis Seber, Jeremy Swonke, Gina Alvarado, Lindsey Seber, Lucas Seber, and great-grandchildren Mikale Vadell, Kaitlyn, Kamryn, and Kristyn Swonke, Heaven Brewer, Luke and Seth Johnson, Joilyn and Nathanial Alvarado, Cavren Cochrell and Kinsley Seber. Great- Great grandchildren Reina and Laurel Vadell. Sister-in-law Barbara Ann Seber and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation: 6th of June – 5:00-8:00 PM Celebration of Life 7th of June – 2:00 PM
Burial following Service 7th of June Waller Cemetery
There will be lunch provided at 11:30 am Monday before the service at
