Obituary

Our beloved mother Mary Elizabeth Greer Harrington Schultz went to be with our Lord on March 21, 2024.  She was born in Millican, Texas on March 7,1936 to Charles W. Greer and Eunice L. Fuller.

Mary married Clarence Aldrew (Al) Harrington Jr. in Navasota, Texas.  Mary and Al moved to the Cypress area where they raised their family. They opened a store called Harrington General Merchandize they later sold the store and started a gas company H & M Oil and delivered gas to small companies. Mary often would drive the truck and delivered the gas herself.  She was also very active in the Cypress Volunteer Fire department where she would drive the fire truck and helped put out many fires. There wasn't much she couldn't do.  She loved to dove hunt and fish she loved anything to do with the outdoors. Mary also loved children, she took in her younger sister and helped raise her, she also took in her niece after she was orphaned at an early age.

After Al passed away, she sold the company and later married Felix Schultz she sold her home and she and Felix made a life together in the Rosehill area.  Mary loved family and always hosted holiday celebrations at their home with her family and his it was a quite a large gathering and she always insisted on doing all the cooking.  Every year she would have a large garden and grew all kinds of fresh vegetables she shared everything that she grew so no one ever went hungry while her garden was in spring and fall, she always had something growing Felix passed away in 2013 so she sold their home.

Mary relocated to Bellville, Texas where she was living with her oldest daughter Gay Nell.
