Obituary

Maria Concepción Saldivar ("Mary") was born in Longbeach, California on November 2, 1930 to Jose Celestino Castillo and Maria Luisa Vigil. Her parents and eight siblings preceded her in death. Mary quietly passed away the morning of December 28, 2016. She loved the Lord Jesus and was christened in the Catholic Church at an early age. Mary married Ernesto Saldivar, Jr., on September 23, 1951; they were married 65 years. She was devoted to caring for her family, and she shared her gift of compassion for several years, working as a Nurse's Aide at the bed side of many patients at Hermann Hospital in downtown Houston. Mary is survived by her husband, Ernesto, Jr., her three sons, David, Ernesto, III, and Mario, daughter, Sonia Ann (Kramer), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other extended family members and friends. Her memory will live on through a host of relatives and loved ones.
