Mary J Rockhill, age 87, passed away peacefully on September 15th, 2022. She was born on October 14th 1934 to Norman and Marian (Wing) Astle in Sauk County. Mary was united in Marriage to Ernest (Rocky) Rockhill on November 8th 1952. She drove school bus for the DeForest/Poynette school system for over 30 years and was very active in the Windsor Church of Christ. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing, dancing, and touring with Rocky on their motorcycle. She was dearly loved by her family and is survived by her three daughters, Marge Chesley, Nancy (Steve) Miller and Julie Weinrich all residing in Spring TX; five Grandchildren, Noelle (Scott), Becky (Chris), Sarah (James), Kari (Brian) and Dustin; four great grandchildren, Sam, Ben, Dylan and Shalyn; brother Alan (Rosie) Astle. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother William (Ruby), sister Carol (David) Peck and son-in-law John Chesley. A private celebration of life will be held in Spring for her immediate family and a memorial will be held in WI in the spring of 2023.
