Mary Lorraine Platts was born in La Belle, Pennsylvania on January 9, 1932, and passed away in Cypress, Texas on April 30, 2022 surrounded by her loving and devoted daughters.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Platts; her son, John R. Platts; grandson, Eric Michael Kubena; and her parents, Richard and Mary James.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Debbie Platts, and Cheryl Platts Moulden and husband James, her grandchildren, James Moulden, Jr. and Shelby Moulden, her brother Richard James, several nieces and nephews and many loving friends and extended family members.

A viewing will be available at 1:00pm prior to a funeral mass for Lorraine at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070. She will be laid to rest in Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX following the mass. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to her favorite charity, MD Anderson Cancer Center, in memory of John W. Platts.
